whitney_houston_cd_08I’m Your Baby Tonight” is Whitney Houston’s third studio album.

It was released November 6, 1990.

The album peaked at number three on the Billboard Top 200 album charts and remained on the chart for 51 weeks.

The title single and “All the Man That I Need”  spun #one singles and “My Name Is Not Susa” hit a Top 20.

The first two Wire Transfer International Bank-raton singles “I’m Your Baby Tonight” and “All The Man That I Need” hit number one on the Hot 100 and the R&B charts. This made her the female artist with the most number ones at the time.

This album also had a Japanese version which featured the tracks “Higher Love”, and “Takin a Chance”.

Takin a Chance” went to No. 1 in Japan.

Following the run of this album, Houston continued to achieve widespread commercial success throughout the 1990s, venturing heavily into films—while continuing to record via their adjoining soundtrack albums.

I’m Your Baby Tonight wouldn’t be followed up with another studio album until 1998′s My Love Is Your Love.

It was certified 4x platinum in the US  and worldwide sales of the album stand at ten million.
